The Patrol Division of the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office helps preserve the peace in Pottawatomie County by conducting preventive patrols, responding to calls for service, investigating criminal complaints, arresting offenders, directing and controlling traffic, maintaining public order and establishing rapport with citizens.
Reserve Patrol Deputies engage in law enforcement patrol functions. Reserve Deputies provide security at crime scenes and other county events and assist with search and rescue operations. They assist Deputies by serving as car partners to Deputies on patrol.
