February 22, 2023:

On February 21st, 2023, the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office took a report of graffiti painted on the Onaga Historical Society at 302 East 2nd Street in Onaga. It is believed to have occurred sometime between February 11th and February 21st ,2023. February 9, 2023

On February 7th, 2023, at approximately 12:43pm, Pottawatomie County Dispatch took a 911 call of a structure fire located in the 400 block of East Plum Street, Louisville, Pottawatomie County, Kansas. Emergency crews were dispatched and upon arrival discovered a mobile home with smoke coming from it. While firefighters investigated the fire, Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Deputies learned that there was a methamphetamine laboratory inside the residence. A search warrant for the residence was applied for and executed after the fire was extinguished. As a result of the search warrant, two men were arrested and transported to the Pottawatomie County Jail. Both men are currently awaiting bond.

Odis Leon Parker, 80, Louisville, was booked on charges of Manufacturing a Controlled Substance, Criminal Use of Weapons, Possession of Paraphernalia with Intent to Manufacture a Controlled Substance, Possession of Stimulant, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Odis Leon Parker Jr., 47, Louisville, was booked on charges of Manufacturing a Controlled Substance, Possession of Paraphernalia with Intent to Manufacture a Controlled Substance, Arson; Accidental to Dwelling by Manufacturing a Controlled Substance, and Aggravated Battery.
The Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office was assisted in the investigation by Pottawatomie County Consolidated Fire, Pottawatomie County EMS, Pottawatomie County Emergency Management, Kansas State Fire Marshal, Riley County Police Department, and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation.

July 11, 2022:

On Friday, June 17th, 2022, the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office filed
a burglary report in the 6100 block of K-99 Hwy., rural Wamego, Kansas. A
Taurus 9mm pistol valued at over $300.00 was removed from the residence.

On Sunday, June 26th, 2022, the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office filed
a burglary report in the 200 block of E. 7th St., Onaga, Kansas. U.S.
currency and a Raven Arms .25 caliber pistol were taken from the residence.
The total loss is over $1,500.00. Anyone with information is asked to

On Tuesday, June 28th, 2022, the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office filed
a vehicle burglary report in the 17000 block of Ebel Rd., rural Wamego,
Kansas. A purple Sig Sauer Mosquito .22 caliber pistol and accessories were
taken from a vehicle. The total loss is over $500.00. Anyone with

On Thursday, June 30th, 2022, the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office
filed a burglary report in the 400 block of Valley St., Wamego. A Sig
Sauer .40 caliber pistol and a tool box were taken from a camper. The total
