On July 3, 2025, at around 11:00 PM, the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of Elm Slough Rd and Traytons Ln, rural Wamego, Pottawatomie County, Kansas for a report of an injury from a fight at a party. Law Enforcement, EMS and Fire units responded to the scene and one individual was transported to an area hospital for injuries. Law enforcement has spoken with a several individuals that were at the party but we are asking the public’s help in identifying two vehicles and the possible occupants who may have also witnessed the events at the party. One vehicle is described as dark colored sedan and the other vehicle is described as a white ¾ or 1-ton truck with rock lights in the wheel wells. It was reported that there were several unknown teenager or young adult individuals in those vehicles. We understand that the details are vague, but we are doing everything we can to identify the people involved in the altercation.
