The Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to announce it will be hosting the 2018 Kansas Police Dog Association annual certification. Approximately 40, K-9 teams from across Kansas will be coming to Pottawatomie County to train and certify their Police dogs. This training will occur April 16 through April 20, 2018. Wamego, Belvue, St.Marys. Emmett and Westmoreland are some of the areas these teams will be training and certifying in. The handlers and their Police partners will be certifying in narcotics, tracking and Patrol work in select areas of our County.
