On Tuesday October 15, 2019 at about 11:15am, a White 2013 Dodge Ram 2500 work truck bearing a Kansas tag of 516KFG was stolen from the Dara’s gas station at 8811 East Highway 24, Manhattan, Pottawatomie County, Kansas. The truck contained various tools and had a red “Ed Schram Dodge” front license plate. The vehicle was taken by an unknown person described as an older white male, bald, and carrying a book bag, and the truck was seen by a witness heading west on Highway 24 towards the Manhattan city limits. The truck was spotted on I-35 near mile marker 42 heading southbound, possibly in route to the Oklahoma City area.
The Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating the truck and asks anyone with information to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 785-457-3353.
