Beginning Tuesday, May 4th Highway 24 will be reduced to one lane in either direction from South Port Drive to Scottie Lane. Traffic will be shifted to the right lanes and this work zone will have a reduced speed limit of 45 MPH. This phase of the project will install storm sewer and left turn lanes in the median. Motorists should allow themselves extra time for their daily commute.
Also in this phase the intersection of Crown C Circle and Highway 24 will reopen.
