On Friday February 5, 2021, the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office responded to Kansas Hardwoods located in the 22000 block of Highway 24 Belvue, Pottawatomie County, Kansas, for a theft report.  Kansas Hardwoods reported that unknown person(s) stole numerous hardwood boards from the business between January 28 and February 3, 2021.  The stolen boards are described as being: (8) Cedar boards being 2×12, 2×16 being 8 ft long; (15) Walnut boards being 2×12, 2×16 being 8 ft long and (30) Maple boards 1×6, 1×12 being 10 to 12ft long.   The value of the stolen boards is in the excess of $2,000.00.
