Detectives with the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office have arrested a suspect in the death of 19 year old Jacob Bouck. The body of Jacob Bouck was located West of Wamego on December 24th, 2018 near the bank of the Kansas River. An ongoing investigation that involved the assistance from our surrounding agencies and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation yielded information that led to the arrest. The suspect, 23 year old Cody Lamia-Beck of Wamego was taken into custody by Detectives on March 6th, 2019 for 2nd degree murder. He is currently being held at the Pottawatomie County Jail in Westmoreland, bond has not been set. The investigation into this homicide continues.
